AstraZeneca söker en student som vill göra sitt exjobb vid Separation Science Laboratoriet (SSL) in Mölndal, Göteborg:
During the spring of 2023 you will be evaluating the signal linearity of Charged Aerosol Detection (CAD) & Evaporative Light Scattering Detection (ELSD) in Supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC), to find the correlation between signal strength and structural elements of the solutes – and ultimately to compare these relationships across the two detectors. This will be followed by the development of standard models for the signal linearity depending on the solute type/functionalities.
We are looking for a science/engineering master student who is interested in analytical and physical chemistry, as well as statistics and modelling.
Useful skills include:
Experience in working with chromatographic and/or spectroscopic methods
Experience in using multivariate data analysis and design of experiments software (e.g
SIMCA, MODDE)
Experience in using statistical softwares (e.g Excel-stat).
Experience is no requirement.
If interested, summarize relevant information about yourself (CV and cover letter) in Swedish or
English and e-mail your application to thesis supervisor:
